Responsibilities:
Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move raw materials, parts, and finished goods across the warehouse and production floor.
Supply production lines and machine operators with the raw materials they need to keep running without delays.
Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight trucks safely and efficiently.
Scan or log inventory movements to keep accurate track of warehouse stock.
Keep warehouse aisles clear, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Working hours: 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Prior experience driving forklifts specifically in a manufacturing plant, factory, or busy warehouse environment.
Experience using RF scanners or basic warehouse computer systems to track inventory.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving paperwork (like bills of lading or packing slips).
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience safely operating a sit-down forklift.
High school diploma or GED (OR a solid, steady work history in logistics/warehousing).
Excellent reliability and a rock-solid attendance record.
Ability to pass a forklift skills assessment on-site and safely lift up to 35 lbs when handling materials by hand.
Team-player attitude and the flexibility to work overtime as shipping demands change.
