Production Scheduling Team:- Own the daily and weekly production schedule; ensure it???s published, visible, and accurate- Sequence jobs based on due dates, material availability, machine capacity, and labor constraints- Run the daily scheduling sync with production supervisors; surface conflicts early, resolve before shift- Maintain the late-order list and escalate demand-capacity conflicts to ops leadership before they become misses- Coordinate with sales and engineering on rush orders, lead time commitments, and demand spikes.Material Flow & Warehouse Operations:- Own all incoming and outgoing material movement, receiving, staging, pick/pack/ship- Maintain organized raw material, WIP, and finished goods locations with clear visual controls- Ensure every material move is logged, traceable, and accurate in the ERP system- Coordinate domestic and international freight carriers, BOLs, customs docs, delivery windowsInventory Accuracy:- Drive and defend ???99% inventory accuracy; cycle counts, root cause on misses, corrective action- Own the cycle count schedule and lead the physical count process- Identify and eliminate sources of inventory shrinkage, mislocation, and ERP discrepancyOn-Time Shipping:- Own the daily late-order list for outbound shipments; zero unexplained misses- Coordinate with scheduling and production to ensure shipping dates are met- Escalate demand-capacity conflicts to ops leadership before they become failuresStandards & Visual Management:- Write and maintain warehouse SOPs- Build and sustain 3S across all warehouse areas-Develop and post visual controls: location labels, flow indicators, quantity min/max signageTeam Leadership:- Lead, train, and develop receiving and shipping personnel- Hold your team to daily performance expectations with coaching- Participate in continuous improvement culture
7-10 years
Prefeered Skills:- Experience in precision machining, plastics, or industrial parts manufacturing- Experience implementing or improving cycle count programs- Familiarity with international freight documentation (commercial invoices, customs, INCO terms)- Lean certifications- Familiar with implementing PULL systems
- 7+ years of warehouse, logistics, or supply chain leadership in a manufacturing environment- Proven ability to build and enforce standards, not just follow them- ERP experience with demonstrated ability to maintain inventory accuracy- Strong communication skills; up (to leadership) and down (to your team)- Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement experience you can demonstrate.- Experience scheduling within a manufacturing environment
