Hours: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM (40-42 hours per week)
Pay: $30.25 - $32.50/HR (Hourly wage is based on experience)

Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and mentor shop personnel and new hires
Manage inventory levels of consumables, requisition welding supplies to maintain uninterrupted flow of weld products
Coordinate with maintenance personnel in event of a breakdown
Plan and schedule daily shop operations in coordination with Plant Manager ensuring timely completion of projects
Coordinate with QC to ensure adherence to blueprints, technical specifications, and standards
Timely completion of shop employee reviews
Interpretation of blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical illustrations
Monitor overall shop safety practices are being met
Ability to use various measuring tools
Safely operate various pieces of equipment such as saw, cutting torch, press iron worker, hoists, cranes, pallet jacks, and carts
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Requires attention to detail and care to prevent injury to self and others when performing work
Exhibit interpersonal skills sufficient to perform as an active team member
Perform other duties as assigned or required by company management

Qualifications:
Able to meet the physical requirements of the position: stand 8+ hours per day, routine stooping and bending, occasional heavy lifting ? up to 50 lbs.
Able to read, write and understand the English language.
Demonstrate a positive and business-like attitude.
Required to wear all OSHA mandated safety equipment and to adhere to all company safety practices and policies.
Conduct all interactions with co-workers and supervisors in a focused, positive, courteous, and respectful manner.
Regular attendance is an essential element of the job. Unplanned absences have the potential to impair the operation of the department and diminish the efficiency of the company.
