Job Description:

As a Welder you would be responsible for assembling and welding various metal components and structures.

Responsibilities:

• Welding and assembling metal structures and components
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications
• Setting up welding equipment 
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Operating grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment
• Maintenance of welding equipment
• Following proper safety procedures and wearing proper PPE

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Technical training or certification in welding preferred

Experience: 24 months

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Physical:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Skills:

• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding
• Stick Welding (preferred) 
• Ability to comprehend blueprints and technical drawings
• Understanding of metal types and thicknesses
• Understanding of math (fractions, decimals, and measurements)
