Job Description:
As a Welder you would be responsible for welding and assembling various metal components and structures.
Responsibilities:
- Welding and assembling metal structures and components
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Setting up and maintaining welding equipment
- Inspecting finished products to ensure that they meet quality standards
- Operating saws, grinders, and other fabrication equipment
- Following proper safety procedures and wearing proper PPE
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Technical training or certification in welding (preferred)
Experience: 24 months
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Experience welding thin guage metals
Physical:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel
Skills:
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding
- Stick Welding (preferred)
- Ability to weld thing gauge metals
- Ability to comprehend blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Understanding of metal types and thicknesses
- Understanding of math (fractions, decimals, and measurements)
