Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee or assist with the processing of invoices, expense reports, and payment collections.
Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Audit Support: Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external auditors during year-end reviews.
Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and improve financial internal controls.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA Track: Active CPA license or progress toward obtaining a CPA certification.
ERP Experience: Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning software such as NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in [Insert Specific Industry, e.g., SaaS, Manufacturing, or Non-Profit].
Tax Knowledge: Foundational understanding of corporate tax filings and payroll tax requirements.
