We are looking for a trustworthy, "roll-up-your-sleeves" Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations and supervise a small, dedicated team of two. Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight & Bookkeeping
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping and regular account reconciliations to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Compliance & Audit Coordination
- Lead Grant Management, including detailed reporting and ensuring strict adherence to compliance standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for 3rd party audits, gathering documentation and coordinating the process from start to finish.
Team Leadership & HR Support
- Directly supervise and mentor a team of two, ensuring workflow efficiency and accuracy.
- Handle light HR administrative duties, primarily focused on employee documentation and record-keeping.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience: Proven background in accounting management or office management.
- Mindset: A self-starter attitude with a willingness to be "hands-on" in the daily weeds of accounting.
- Location: Ability to work daily in our Bryan, TX office.
