We are looking for a focused and organized Accounts Payable Assistant to support the finance team of a prominent engineering firm in Superior, WI. Hours: 24 hours/week (three 8-hour days)
Pay: $20-25/hr (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
What You?ll Do
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys high-volume data entry and has a sharp eye for the small details that keep a business running.
Data Entry: Maintain high accuracy during high-volume data entry to ensure our financial records remain reliable.
Invoice Processing: Assist with full-cycle duties such as invoice coding and three-way matching.
Documentation: Support the team by collecting and maintaining standard tax documents like W-9s.
Compliance Support: Help audit invoices and verify documentation related to labor classifications and certified payroll.
Collaboration: Work alongside project managers and the finance team to ensure all payments are processed accurately.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Bonus Points (Preferred)
Familiarity with the Davis-Bacon Act or Prevailing Wage regulations.
Prior experience working within the construction industry.
A desire to grow-there is a definite opportunity to transition into a permanent Specialist role for the right candidate!
