Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for handling all aspects of accounts payable, including the approval, entry, and payment of invoices and reimbursements. 

Responsibilities:

• Enters vendor invoices and check requisitions into the system; files posted invoices in open files until checks are issued.
• Generates outstanding invoice reports, identifies invoices for payment, prints checks, and distributes them accordingly; processes student refund checks on a weekly basis.
• Maintains organized filing systems for paid invoices, student tuition refunds, and records of issued and voided checks; manages vendor files and responds to vendor inquiries.
• Tracks credit balances with vendors and prepares refund request letters when applicable.
• Monitors and resolves issues related to outstanding or uncashed checks.
• Prepares and manages Marian Loan payment documentation and coordinates repayment with the Payroll Operations Manager.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Controller.

Education: Associate Degree

Experience: 24 months
