Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers at the counter and drive-thru in a courteous and professional manner
Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to appropriate departments
Collect payments (cash and check), issue receipts, and process transactions
Make daily bank deposits and reconcile payment records
Apply penalties to delinquent accounts and process disconnections for non-payment
Update customer accounts with corrections, meter changes, new accounts, and final readings
Perform general administrative tasks as needed in support of the front office team
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 AM
Skills:
Familiarity with utility billing systems or municipal customer service
Experience in applying penalties or working with delinquent accounts
Knowledge of meter reading systems or service transfers
Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a front office, customer service, or accounts receivable role
Comfortable handling cash and making bank deposits
Strong computer and data entry skills
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers
Dependable and able to maintain confidentiality
