Spherion Fort Myers is urgently seeking a Collection Specialist to immediately jump into a high-volume, time-sensitive project in Fort Myers. We need candidates ready to hit the ground running on the phone, as this role requires spending 80-90% of your day actively managing residential customer accounts. Responsibilities:
- intermediate Excel experience
- heavy phone work and detailed documentation experience
- mixture of business to business and residential customer calls(mostly residential)
- tenacious, detailed, consistent, high-energy
- Invoicing process knowledge is a plus and will make for a better fit
- Must be ready to hit the ground running and get on the phones
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Experience in collections, AR, or invoicing processes within the Construction or Service industries.
- Email correspondence-based collectors are not what we are looking for.
- General knowledge of the invoicing life cycle.
- Construction or service background is preferred, but we understand that is a challenge.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Residential experience is a must.
- Extensive, recent experience in phone-based collections (80-90% daily).
- Proven, recent experience managing collections for residential customer accounts.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- A tenacious, consistent, and detailed work ethic.
