Job Description:
As an Assembler Level 1, you will play a critical role in Making People Safer, Healthier, and More Productive - building the products that help healthcare professionals deliver accurate results and save lives. You’ll assemble precision laboratory centrifuges and equipment, ensuring every piece meets the highest quality standards that our customers and their patients depend on.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components with care and precision, using diagrams, written instructions, hand tools, and pneumatic/electronic equipment.
- Inspect parts for defects and immediately report any issues to the supervisor to protect product quality.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe working environment by following prescribed safety and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with your team and supervisor to meet production schedules and continuously improve processes.
- Take pride in your craftsmanship, knowing that every product you help build supports vital medical outcomes.
Education: High School
- High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required).
- Alternate education and experience will be considered based on individual potential and passion for the work.
Experience: 3 months
- 3-6 months of manufacturing experience (preferred but not required; we will train motivated candidates).
Physical:
- Stand for most of the shift with occasional sitting.
- Lift up to 50 pounds safely.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
- Work in a clean, shop-floor manufacturing environment
Skills:
- Visual acuity and attention to detail when handling and inspecting small parts.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and visual work aids.
- Familiarity with basic assembly and measuring tools is preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with the team.
- Basic computer skills for training, documentation, and communication.
