Responsibilities:
Assemble or prepare products and product components according to department standards and operating procedures
Complete basic equipment operations using tools such as wax molds, soldering guns, cutoff wheels, and automated machinery
Visually inspect finished products, parts, and components for defects to ensure compliance with quality standards
Monitor product quality continuously and take immediate corrective action per established protocols
Perform basic routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on production machinery
Complete precise documentation of daily operations and finished unit quantities
Communicate effectively within a work cell to exchange operational information
Advise department supervisors promptly of any special concerns or operational issues
Perform additional tasks as directed by management
Working hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Prior experience in product inspection or general manufacturing environments
Hands-on proficiency with precision instruments, including thread gauges
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a foundry environment working in a cutoff, snag, or forming capacity
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Basic math proficiency to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Capability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations
