- Provide administrative and operational support across core HR functions, including compensation, benefits, leave management, employee relations, and compliance- Ensure consistent interpretation and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and background checks- Manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including orientation and policy review- Serve as a point of contact for employee and management HR inquiries, escalating complex matters as appropriate- Support and participate in employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including HRIS and timekeeping systems- Assist in the development and delivery of employee training and development programs- Monitor HR trends and regulatory changes to support compliance and recommend best practices
1-4 years
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certified is highly desirable - Prior experience with HRIS systems such as ADP Workforce Now for onboarding, benefits administration, payroll processing and reporting is highly preferred.- Experience working with Unions and Union employees preferred.
- 5 or more years of experience in human resources and a high school diploma or equivalent or a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field with 2 years of relevant experience.- Ability to read and speak in Spanish as well as English - Knowledge of a wide range of HR/legal standards & regulations, programs, processes, and tools in all areas ranging from recruitment, benefits, training, and payroll.- Proven proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.- The position is fully on-site and requires the ability to commute to / from the office everyday.
