Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for the quality control and logic testing of essential voting materials. Duties include:
- Proofread election materials for accuracy, including letter-to-letter comparisons, formatting, and punctuation in both English and Spanish.
- Ensure election selection codes display the correct ballots and verify that all digital bitmaps and audio recordings are functioning properly.
- Assist with ballot tabulation testing to ensure counting machines are tallying correctly. This involves marking test ballots and documenting results from the tally server.
- Type-set election materials, update workflow databases, and maintain organized filing systems for Voter Information Guides.
- Coordinate effectively with both internal departments and external customers to resolve inquiries.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Ability to catch minute errors in formatting or data entry.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of working long hours during peak election periods.
- Ability to follow complex directions, work independently, and communicate effectively in a professional setting.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Strong basic computer skills with advanced typing speed and accuracy. Experience with Microsoft Office is required.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both English and Spanish. This includes a mastery of grammar, vocabulary, and professional translation.
