We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Brake Press Machine Operator to join our client's production team. This position is responsible for operating and programming brake press machinery, preparing custom setups, and ensuring high-quality parts through precise forming operations. Responsibilities:
Operate brake press machinery to perform complex bend set-ups and forming tasks
Prepare tooling and execute custom modifications as required
Program brake press machines using advanced features (angles, gauge transfers, delays, etc.)
Read and interpret technical prints and apply geometric tolerances to production
Scan job barcodes and complete all necessary documentation
Perform high-quality work that meets internal standards and client expectations
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 6S principles
Work efficiently with minimal supervision and meet scheduled production targets
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
Manufacturing experience preferred
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a brake press
High school diploma (Grade 12 or equivalent) required
Strong ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools
Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs
