The Carrier Relations Representative is responsible for managing relationships with carriers and ensuring the smooth processing of carrier-related transactions. The role involves auditing and processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, handling communications, managing compliance, and processing cargo claims.

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, $25-$31/hr
Responsibilities:
Audit and process carrier invoices. ??
Contact carriers and factoring companies for paperwork. ??
Research and resolve carrier invoice discrepancies. ??
Answer calls and emails from carriers and factoring companies about payment status. ??
Reconcile unpaid carrier invoices. ??
Review and develop company compliance policies and procedures to mitigate risks for the company. ??
Regularly audit company processes to identify possible weaknesses or risk. ??
Create and manage effective plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations. ??
Receive, process and manage cargo claims in a timely manner. ??
Subrogate carriers for payment. ??
Involve legal counsel, when necessary, with executive approval. ??
Inform executives of pending liabilities. ??
Communicate with cargo insurance companies and customers about claim status. ??
Perform other duties and projects as needed. ??
