Responsibilities:
Coding all Inpatient accounts using ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM code sets.
Verify and ensure the accuracy, completeness, specificity, and appropriateness of diagnosis and procedure codes; and MS-DRG assignment based on services rendered and documentation provided.
Must Have Certification in one of the following: RHIT, CCS, CCSP, CPC or equivalent certifications required.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
Coding Specialist ??? RHIT, CCS, CCSP, CPC or equivalent certifications required. Minimum 2-year college coding course including anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, CPT-4 and ICD-10-CM and PCS.
Excellent customer service skills are a must
Adequate knowledge of Windows software
Excellent organizational skills
