As a CNC Machinist you will independently set up and operate CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes, ensuring the production of high-quality parts. This position requires a strong understanding of CNC machining, tool selection, process optimization, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain machinery.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6 AM - 4 PM (Friday as needed).
Overtime: Voluntary, primarily on Fridays, with flexibility from Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including tool selection and calibration.
- Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to produce precise components.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize production efficiency.
- Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure part quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues independently, performing routine maintenance and light repairs as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of production runs, tool usage, and machine maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and efficiency, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor CNC Machinist 1 team members, helping them develop their skills and understanding of machining principles.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
- Technical certification in machining or a related field is preferred.
- Proven work history in a similar role, with a track record of producing high-quality parts and contributing to team success.
- Experience in advanced machining techniques such as multi-axis CNC machining, thread cutting, and surface grinding.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and light repairs on CNC equipment, ensuring optimal machine performance.
