The Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Machining Centers, CNC Lathes, Manual Lathes & Mills. Solid machine tool background and the ability to manufacture precision parts that meet engineering specifications and quality standards in a production environment. Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime until 3:30 PM)
Wage: $25.00 - $33.00/HR

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
- Modify, and optimize CNC programs using machine controls
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet specifications
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and understand GD&T.
- Perform first-article inspections (PPAP) and verify dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues to minimize downtime.
- Make program adjustments to improve cycle times, quality, and machine efficiency.

- 2+ years of CNC machining or metal fabrication experience
