Examples of bad sheets would be damaged, ripped, stained, and/or contaminated. Any old production tickets would also have to be removed and discarded.2.Sheets that are deemed fit for production are to be stacked neatly in the designated area. The bin for stacking sheets also shows the maximum height of the stack.3.Sheets that are not fit for production are to be stacked in a separate pile and will be banded up and sent to the recycler.4.Sorters may also be asked to separate good and bad rectangular plastic top frames. The correct number of frames then needs to be stacked neatly on a pallet for use in production.5.Each person will be required to assist with daily housekeeping duties in the area. All trash and debris must be picked up, trash emptied when necessary, and the floor is to be swept completely.6.Individuals may be required to assist with other miscellaneous tasks in the plant.       Laborers assist welders in all aspects of fabrication and assembly in shop and field site work areas. And assist painters and bead blasters in prepping/coating projects.Responsibilities:Operate all hand/automated tools including tape measure, steel square, wrenches, ratchets, grinders, chop saws, come-a-longs, jacks, chain hoists, clamps, welding dogs & pad-eyes, etc.Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies using hoists, pry bars, wrenches, hammer, and wedges as directed.Remove rough spots, slag, etc. from work piece, using portable grinder, wire brush, hand file, bench grinder, wire wheel, etc.Lift, move, transport steel parts using hydraulic lifts, plate clamps, chain hoists, dollies and hand carts.Observe and follows all company safety rules and regulations.Clean and maintain an orderly work area.Work well with others to ensure quality of work while maintaining scheduling demands.Performs other miscellaneous tasks as directed by management.Working hours: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PMSkills:Ability to communicate both verbally as well as through written communication.Reliable and punctual.Education:No Degree RequiredExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:Ability to lift 50 pounds.Must possess adequate sight, hearing and use of limbs for all aspects of job.Able to work for periods of time while kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing steps as well as the ability to work from a ladder.Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen.
