Responsibilities:
Our Client is seeking a Collection System Operations Chief in Bradenton, FL. In this role, you will regularly participate in and manage the daily operations and maintenance of collection system facilities. You will ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations while mentoring a team to reach their full potential.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Leadership: Scheduling, directing, and evaluating staff in the operation and maintenance of assigned facilities.
Compliance & Reporting: Completing and submitting required Monthly Operating Reports (MORs); ensuring accuracy through Hach Wims & CMMS systems.
Operations: Operating, maintaining, and performing routine repairs on assigned equipment, including preventive maintenance.
Management: Developing capital budgets, executing capital projects, overseeing payroll, and managing inventory of supplies and chemicals.
Safety: Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standard operating procedures while working around electrical and mechanical equipment.
Collaboration: Maintaining an open relationship with customers and the community; assisting regulators during compliance inspections.

Qualifications:
Certification: You must possess at least a valid State of Florida Class "B" Collections System license (Class "A" is preferred).
Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the Water and Wastewater industry, specifically in operations with management responsibilities.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
License: Valid Florida Driver's License.
Decision Making: Ability to make sound decisions in process control, follow strict safety procedures, and provide clear direction to a team.
Screening: Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, physical, and drug screen before employment.
Pay: $34 - $40 an hour (Depending on qualifications and experience).
Bonuses: Annual Project and Annual Safety bonuses are awarded each year.
Retirement: 401(k) with a 100% company match on the first 3% contributed.
Time Away: 8 observed holidays, accrued vacation, and paid sick time.
