Full Time | Temp-to-Hire | $18 - $20 to start (evaluation for increase after 6 months)
Monday - Friday | 8AM - 5PM
Responsibilities:
As a construction coordinator you'll be responsible for supporting the current Office Manager with the construction admin process - from managing vendor relationships, coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, process compliance, overall workflow efficiency.
- preparing and tracking permitting documentation for multiple projects
- maintaining organized records of project updates, vendor details, and compliance documents
- manage activities with QuickBooks and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook - heavily used!)
- serve as a trusted liaison between field crews, vendors, and office operations
- answer calls, route messages, and assist in client inquiries
- perform general administrative duties to support a tight-nit and dynamic office environment
- Coordinate permitting paperwork and ensure timelines are met
- Manage vendor communications and maintain updated project files
- Support administrative needs related to construction operations
- Answer incoming calls and emails professionally and promptly
- Maintain organized digital and physical records
- Assist with general office tasks and internal team support
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- QuickBooks (not required)
- Construction industry or similar experience (not required)
- Familiarity with construction project documentation or permitting processes (not required)
- Experience working with vendors
- Comfortable with adapting to evolving processes and systems
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years' office experience
- Organizational and time management abilities
- Effective and efficient communication skills - verbally and written
- Ability to follow instructions and learn existing processes - verbally and written
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, & Outlook
- Comfortable working in a steadily paced, deadline and compliance driven construction environment
