A Construction Foreman/Finish Carpenter at our client is a dynamic, multi-talented individual who's adept at coordinating job site activities, managing projects from start to finish, and performing high-quality carpentry work. You'll be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process, from ordering materials to supervising crew members and subcontractors. Responsibilities:
Material and Logistics Management: Determine material needs, place orders, and coordinate timely deliveries to keep projects on schedule. Inspect incoming supplies to confirm quality and quantity.
Team and Subcontractor Oversight: Directly supervise Buhrt Builders crew, acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day issues. Schedule and oversee work performed by subcontractors, ensuring everything meets project specifications and quality standards.
Project Documentation and Communication: Maintain precise project files in BuilderTrend, including time logs and schedules. Proactively communicate any out-of-scope work or change orders to the project manager.
Hands-on Finish Carpentry: When not actively managing the job site, you'll perform a wide range of finish carpentry tasks, including framing, installing windows and doors, deck construction, and custom trim work for both new builds and remodels.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all work, whether completed by the crew or subcontractors, meets the stringent quality standards of Buhrt Builders.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Software Proficiency: Experience with BuilderTrend software is a significant plus.
Communication: Effective and respectful communication with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.

Qualifications:
Carpentry Expertise: Minimum of five years of experience in finish carpentry, with proven skills in rough framing, window and door installation, and custom trim work.
Leadership: Proven experience as a Jobsite Foreman with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
Technical Knowledge: Must be able to read and interpret construction blueprints and understand the technical specifications of materials and equipment.
Organizational Prowess: Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills to manage complex schedules and project files.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to solve on-site issues while balancing client needs, schedules, and financial impact.
