Responsibilities:
Lead the Crew: Direct and supervise a small team (2-5 people), clearly communicating daily tasks and goals.
Work Alongside Team: Actively participate in the work, demonstrating proper techniques, providing hands-on instruction, and filling in as a skilled craftsperson..
Ensure Quality: Read plans/specifications and monitor all work to ensure accuracy and high-quality results.
Enforce Safety: Maintain an absolute commitment to job site safety, conducting daily safety checks and toolbox talks (OSHA compliance).
Communicate Progress: Report daily progress, obstacles, and material needs to the Construction Manager.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience in a supervisory, foreman, or lead construction role.
Experience in motivating, mentoring, and coaching crew members.
Familiarity with tracking labor time or coordinating material orders.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a skilled general construction worker with demonstrated knowledge of multiple trades.
Previous experience in a supervisory, foreman, or lead role preferred.
Strong verbal communication skills to clearly direct a team and report to management.
Commitment to construction best practices and quality workmanship.
Solid understanding of job site safety, including proper use of PPE and equipment.
Physically able to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
