Responsibilities:
System Architecture & Design: Lead the design and specification of industrial control system architectures, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, and safety instrumented systems (SIS).
Engineering Documentation: Develop and maintain core engineering documentation such as Control Narratives, Cause & Effect matrices, Loop Sheets, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), and Hardware Design Specifications (HDS).
Programming & Configuration: Program, configure, and troubleshoot Distributed Control Systems (DCS) like Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, or Siemens PCS 7, and major PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley/Rockwell).
Integration & Networking: Manage the integration of diverse systems, including third-party equipment, field instruments, motor controls (MCC/VFDs), and higher-level Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Commissioning & Testing: Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and provide hands-on support during commissioning and plant startup.
Safety System Focus: Design and validate Safety Instrumented Functions (SIF) and ensure compliance with functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61511/61508) if applicable to the role.
Standards & Compliance: Ensure all system designs adhere to internal standards, industry best practices, and relevant codes (ISA, API, NEC, etc.).
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Skills:
Functional Safety (Preferred): Familiarity with functional safety concepts and standards (SIL determination/verification) is a significant advantage.

Qualifications:
Bachelor???s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in control systems engineering, specifically focused on system architecture, integration, and detailed design in a heavy industrial environment.
Extensive, verifiable experience with at least one major DCS platform.
DCS Expertise: Deep programming and configuration knowledge of a primary DCS platform is required.
PLC/HMI Proficiency: Strong capability with PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text) and SCADA/HMI development (e.g., FactoryTalk View SE, Wonderware InTouch/System Platform).
Networking: Strong understanding of industrial communications and networking protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
Process Knowledge: Solid background in process control theory, including $PID$ control loop tuning and advanced control strategies.
Design Tools: Proficient in reading and creating P&IDs, control system wiring diagrams, and loop diagrams.
