Responsibilities:
What You Will Do
Direct Accounting Operations: Oversee all general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset functions.
Financial Reporting & Closing: Manage month-end and year-end close processes; prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Budgeting & Analysis: Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide executive decision-making.
Controls & Compliance: Strengthen internal accounting policies, ensure GAAP compliance, and coordinate external audits and tax filings.
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and elevate the accounting staff to maintain a high-performing team.
Operational Collaboration: Partner across departments to provide insight into inventory management, process efficiency, and cost optimization.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Certifications: CPA certification is preferred.
Industry Background: Prior experience in agriculture, agribusiness, supply chain, or a related cooperative/production industry is highly preferred.

What We Are Looking For
Education & Certifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
Experience: 5 to 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with proven strength in leadership and financial reporting.
Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, audit coordination, and advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Key Traits: High integrity, sharp attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a collaborative leadership style.
