Spherion Staffing and Recruiting has an opening for a Customer Service Representative to join our clients manufacturing plant located in Sumterville. This is a temp-to-hire position. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the pay rate is $18 per hour.
The ideal candidate will handle order entry, answer phone calls, respond to client correspondence, process shipments, and perform general office duties. This role is crucial in ensuring our customers receive timely and accurate information and support.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for answering phone calls and responding to requests from external and internal customers.
- Will provide all necessary guidance to newer Team Members.
- Promptly print purchase orders and respond to emails ensuring all purchase orders are accounted for and emails are responded to in a timely manner.
- Enter orders accurately within four hours after arrival of each order, whether received via online, email, fax or phone.
- Provide order confirmation within four hours to each roofer or distributor as required.
- Constantly monitor/update customer???s orders to ensure that all information on their order is complete and accurate as to product load (field and trim) and the date(s) requested.
- Prioritize and process shortage orders and revisions to orders
- Maintain past due open orders
- Responsible for all aspects of the shipping process.
- Responsible for requesting production for orders that are within 2-3 week working range.
- Responsible for participation in quarterly physical inventory process.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
-Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and complete them in a timely manner.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Must be PC and software literate to include Word, Excel, Outlook and Salesforce.
-Must have the ability to learn and understand ERP system.
-1 to 3 years of exemplary service as a Customer Satisfaction Specialist or an inter-company transfer with related experience and/or training.
-Must possess the communication skills, both verbal and written needed to relay information to customers and other employees in a professional, positive and constructive manner.
-Must work harmoniously with all personnel, including all other departments, and follow all company rules, regulations and procedures associated with professional sales/marketing methods and requirements.
