Spherion Staffing is currently hiring for an established manufacturing leader in Owatonna, MN. We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Die Cast Machining Operator to join their 1st shift team.

This is an immediate direct-hire opportunity where you will be responsible for setting up and operating production machinery to complete critical secondary operations on zinc components. Responsibilities:

• Determine and execute the proper machine setups tailored to each product run.
• Monitor tooling wear, identify when tooling needs replacement, and know when machine adjustments or repairs are required.
• Maintain sufficient levels of coolant and lubricant to ensure smooth equipment performance.
• Partner effectively with team leads, fellow operators, quality inspectors, material handlers, and tool & die maintenance staff.
• Participate in safety initiatives, task teams, and ongoing process improvement activities.

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
