- Provide leadership in the strategic development of requests for support, including appropriate ask amounts, alignment of foundation funding priorities with the Clubs' strategic direction, timing of requests, etc. - Serve as the primary author of all non-government grant requests to family, community, and corporate foundations with support the Vice President & Chief Advancement Officer as appropriate. - Provide secondary support to the Director of Advancement Operations on government grants writing and reporting. - Manage the Clubs' Annual Grants Plan through the creation and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive opportunities/proposals tracking system with the Raiser's Edge CRM to ensure all requests for support and reports are submitted in accordance with deadlines. - Support the development and implementation of cultivation and stewardship plans designed to increase partner engagement, community building, and mission investment. - Research and qualify prospective grant-making organizations, programs, and opportunities that satisfy the financial needs and goals of the organization and individual programs. - Utilize database CRM to track and report on the cultivation and stewardship of corporate and family foundation prospects. - Oversee and manage a portfolio of family and corporate foundation partners, building deep, powerful, and dynamic relationships with current and prospective partners. - Serve as a representative the organization at external community, foundation, and government events and meetings (ribbon cuttings, networking receptions, etc.) to support prospecting and cultivation efforts. - Prepare and submit interim and final reports as required by each foundation partner. - Support the development and distribution of other key mission impact communications (i.e. donor E-newsletters, Advocacy in Action e-newsletter, annual reports, etc.) In close collaboration with the Director of Donor Relations and the Director of Marketing & Communications. - Attend and contribute to departmental and organizational meetings and events. - Provide day-of, on-site support for our signature annual fundraising and stewardship events, leveraging these gatherings as opportunities to engage with grant funders in attendance. - Serve as a primary user and administrator of our Raiser's Edge CRM database, contributing to the overall impact of data through consistent constituent tracking and reporting.

Bachelor?s degree preferred with at least 4 years of related professional experience. ? Prior experience in a nonprofit development or advancement capacity is preferred, along with knowledge of current and emerging trends in fundraising and grant-seeking. ? Novice graphic design skills and experience with Canva or similar content creation solution. ? Demonstrated resource management, budgeting, and analytical skills ? including the ability to compile and analyze data for planning and reporting purposes. ? Technological proficiency, including a command of the Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with using a database to track and extract information. ? Exemplary communication skills (written and verbal) are needed, including the ability to present in front of large groups, interact with and motivate stakeholders, represent the organization at community events and meetings, and write professionally in emails, etc. ? Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people (staff, families, youth, etc.) and a track record of building and sustaining meaningful relationships with individuals and teams from all socioeconomic backgrounds. ? Commitment to professionalism including high expectations and standards of quality, a solid work ethic and personal code of ethics, accountability, and dependability. ?
