Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Plant Operations Manager is accountable for the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the facility. The role directs operations across three key areas:Operations & Efficiency: Direct warehouse processes (receiving, storing, shipping, returns, damaged goods) for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This includes timely processing of customer orders , efficient receiving (inspecting count, condition, and temperature) , and controlling transportation scheduling. Also ensures accurate recordkeeping and reporting.Safety, Compliance, and Facility: Implement programs for safety, security, housekeeping, and sanitation. Ensures staff compliance with OSHA standards. Manages food safety programs (including cleaning, pest control, and proper product storage). Oversees the inspection of transport equipment and manages the disposal of damaged products.Leadership & Administration: Supervises, counsels, and disciplines staff. Coordinates among warehouse operations, customer service, and traffic. Participates in developing operating budgets, revenue projections, and account analysis. Supports sales efforts and maintains professional customer relationships.

EducationMinimum of 2 years of college or similar experienceExperience3-5 years of related experience in warehouse/distribution management/lead. Knowledge and experience in Safety/OSHA/EPA/Risk ManagementRequired Skills/KnowledgeStrong warehouse and distribution knowledge.Previous customer communications to ensure timely product delivery and order fulfillmentProficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). WFS systems (a program that allows sellers to use logistics to store and ship products)Camera systems and function navigationForklift Operation (Both seated and standing)Strong Problem solving and labor management/planning abilities.
