- Schedule: Monday - Thursday 11:30am to 9:00pm, Friday 1:00pm to 5:00pm (Flexible)
- Location: Fort Atkinson, WI
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain wire processing equipment (cutting, stripping, crimping) and hand tools with a strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and adherence to specifications. This includes assembling wires and harnesses based on technical diagrams and work orders.
- Lead the second shift team, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met by effectively monitoring workflow and assigning tasks to optimize time and resources.
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections (in-process and final) on all assembled products.
- Train new employees on proper techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use.
- Maintain accurate records of production, scrap, and rework, promptly communicating any issues or shortages to leadership, and upholding company safety policies and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and do basic math.
- Must be able to effectively use all tools required for wire harness assembly.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
