Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electrical, PLC, CNC, and robotic systems in both foundry and machining environments.
- Lead the installation and wiring of motors, drives, sensors, and control systems, including VFDs and soft starts.
- Safely work with electrical systems from 24VDC up to 13.8kVA.
- Connect to and make minor program changes within PLC systems to support operations.
- Read, interpret, and update electrical schematics and technical documents.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior electricians and maintenance staff.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA, NFPA, and NEC safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a technical or trade school certificate in electrical systems is a must.
- Extensive experience in industrial electrical maintenance, especially in a manufacturing or foundry setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and industrial wiring.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, PLC systems, CNCs, and robotics.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and safely on complex electrical systems.
