Job Summary
Spherion Staffing is hiring an Electronic Wiring Assembler for a leading industrial manufacturer in Owatonna, MN.
In this role, you will perform point-to-point electrical wiring, build custom control panels, wire high-powered motors, and assemble industrial units. You will read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams using precision hand tools and power tools. This is a direct-hire position offering a 4-day work week, comprehensive benefits on day one, and ongoing technical skill advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Control Panel & Electrical Assembly: Perform precision point-to-point wiring for control panels, high-powered motors, and industrial units. Run conduits and install components including relays, switches, transformers, and terminal blocks.
- Blueprint & Schematic Navigation: Read, interpret, and follow detailed electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and wire harness diagrams to guarantee 100% build accuracy.
- Hand & Power Tool Operation: Utilize manual hand tools, wire strippers, crimpers, and precision power tools to execute clean, secure electrical connections.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Perform quality self-inspections on de-energized electrical assemblies to meet safety standards and technical specs. Maintain an organized workspace.
- Production Logging: Maintain accurate production records and collaborate with team leaders to suggest process improvements that increase assembly efficiency.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
- Experience: Background in HVAC equipment manufacturing or industrial machine assembly
- Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial electrical components, relays, switches, and power systems

High School

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in electrical wiring, control panel assembly, or reading electrical schematics
- Skills: Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, and crimping equipment
