lity, and ensuring equipment meets safety and performance standards. The technician may work in workshops, field service environments, or manufacturing settings, often collaborating with engineers and customers to ensure optimal system performance. Strong knowledge of circuitry, components, schematics, and electronic testing tools is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose equipment problems, to board level, and enter estimates for parts and time required for repairs accurately into the ERP system.
- Respond to inquiries, prepare estimates and complete repair work in a timely manner to meet defined service levels, and escalate to supervisor if timelines cannot be met.
- Accurately repair equipment down to board level and rebuild and reprogram according to defined assembly process.
- Test and calibrate repaired equipment to ensure it meets performance standards.
- Document all customer interactions and updates to service repairs in the ERP system according to service process.
- Maintain individual???s repair area and general service test area, such that cleanliness and organization considerations are met on a daily basis.
- Participate in the creation and updates to service procedures for both current and legacy products.
- Proactively learn and stay up to date on product changes and updates to service procedures.
- Adhere to the service processes and provide suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Develop a well-rounded knowledge of products & applications in order to understand and resolve customer support and service issues quickly and professionally.
- Train other technicians, partners and staff on service procedures as needed.
- Perform general warehouse functions such as picking, packing & shipping orders.
- Adhere to all business-related processes, including, but not limited to safety, inventory management and quality.
- Embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment.
- Awareness and compliance of Company Policies and Procedures.
