Working alongside an established in-house developer, you will focus on driving two active integration initiatives while providing targeted support in Epicor administration, custom reporting, and production scheduling workflows. This position is ideal for an experienced independent consultant or developer looking for a focused, high-impact, part-time engagement.
Job Type: Part-Time Contract / Temporary
Duration: 4-6 weeks
Hours: 10-20 hours per week

Responsibilities:
Targeted Integration Projects:
Build, configure, and validate data integrations connecting external systems to Epicor (specifically ADP and Corpay).
Assist in reviewing and maintaining existing custom scripts, services, and web tools connected to the ERP.
Epicor Administration & Reporting:
Develop and refine custom reports and Business Activity Queries (BAQs).
Facilitate data updates and bulk imports via the Data Migration Tool (DMT).
Assist with user permissions, security setup, and database connections.
Manufacturing Operations Support:
Support daily functional troubleshooting, with a primary focus on job and production scheduling, purchasing, and cost accounting workflows.
Partner with the on-site developer to divide tasks, resolve user tickets, and ensure continuity across core manufacturing modules.
Database Maintenance:
Write, optimize, and debug SQL queries and views in MS SQL Server to support custom apps and ERP performance.
Skills:
Software Development: Hands-on experience developing or supporting custom apps using C#, .NET / ASP.NET, and PowerShell (Blazor experience is a strong plus).
Module Depth: Working functional knowledge of Epicor modules for cost accounting, purchasing, and maintenance.
App & Services Support: Background supporting existing custom Windows services, web-based tools, or automated scripts connected to SQL/Epicor.
Qualifications:
Epicor Experience: Proven hands-on technical or administrative experience with Epicor ERP (any version).
Manufacturing Knowledge: Practical understanding of core manufacturing operational workflows, with specific emphasis on job scheduling and production tracking.
Data Integration: Demonstrated experience building or maintaining data feeds and API integrations between third-party systems and ERP platforms (or direct experience connecting ADP/Corpay).
Database & Querying: Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server and writing/troubleshooting T-SQL queries.
Reporting & Data Tools: Experience creating custom Business Activity Queries (BAQs), generating ERP reports, and running data loads via the Data Migration Tool (DMT).
Education / Equivalent: High school diploma/GED with verified, hands-on Epicor and SQL experience, OR an Associate degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
