The Estimator/Project Manager- will oversee all aspects of glass-related construction projects, including quoting, material procurement, installation coordination, and customer service. This role also includes supervisory duties, working closely with the Glass Shop Manager and General Superintendent to ensure project success from start to finish. This is an in-office position perfect for a field person who is now ready to transition to an office environment.
Key Responsibilities:

- Provide detailed estimates for commercial glass/storefront projects
- Manage projects from the initial quote through final close-out
- Prepare and submit required submittals and samples
- Procure materials for projects: aluminum, doors, hardware, and glass units
- Perform accurate field measurements for fabrication
- Label materials for field installation
- Coordinate with installers and site superintendents for pre-install reviews
- Attend job meetings with General Contractors
- Invoice active jobs and monitor financial adjustments
- Review and approve timecards
- Submit monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reports
- Oversee tool procurement and coordination with the general superintendent
- Manage punch list completion and final job close-out documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service and warranty follow-through
- Demonstrate strong verbal/written communication and conflict resolution skills
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years' experience in procurement and/or construction (required)Proven ability to estimate construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/measuring skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience in commercial storefront or glass projects strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
