The Fabrication Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in a production fabrication facility, while supporting a safe and efficient production environment. This role supports operations with organization, minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with equipment and building/office improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Wage: Up to $32.00/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:
Assist in developing, maintaining and executing a successful PM maintenance program
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fabrication equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
Repair and maintain equipment such as:
CNC machines
Press brakes
Shears
Laser or plasma cutting systems
Welding equipment, including a Weld Robot Cell
Material handling equipment
Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential failures.
Install, modify, and maintain production machinery and shop equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Maintain maintenance records and document repairs in the CMMS system.
Work with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Follow all safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
Assist with equipment installation and facility improvements.
Lead/Drive machine down situations to completion
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Technical degree or certificate in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Technology.
Experience with CNC equipment maintenance.
PLC troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems (CMMS).
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in fabrication or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of:
Mechanical systems
Hydraulics and pneumatics
Electrical troubleshooting
Welding and fabrication basics
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Clear understanding of PM programs, execution and implementation
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
