Perform routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on building systems, utility equipment, and machinery.
Diagnose and resolve issues in various trade areas, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
Handle general building upkeep such as patching, painting, minor construction, and exterior maintenance.
Operate and maintain essential facility equipment, including HVAC systems and controls.
Complete all necessary documentation and work orders for repairs and maintenance activities in a timely manner.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Technical certification or Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, HVAC, or a related field.
Experience in a regulated environment (medical device or manufacturing).
Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Valid certifications (HVAC/Refrigeration).
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, specifically in a commercial or industrial facility.
Strong technical aptitude with practical knowledge in at least three of the following areas: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools common to the maintenance trades.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair equipment failures.
Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to complete work order documentation.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including rotational on-call duties, and respond to emergencies.
Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent.
