Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on facility systems, including fire protection, compressed air, hot water, HVAC, generators, roof drains, and dock/door systems.
Place fire protection systems in test mode and apply appropriate signage for ongoing work.
Support and monitor external contractors to ensure compliance with safety and GMP protocols.
Assist in scheduling inspections and maintenance to ensure regulatory compliance.
Repair water distribution systems using ProPress tools and fittings.
Support wastewater and NH3 operations as needed.
Inspect and maintain sanitation systems, including water mixing stations and hose assemblies.
Conduct facility lighting audits and report deficiencies.
Record deduct water meter readings and report to MSD.
Audit parking lot and grounds conditions; coordinate repair work with outside contractors.
Perform office maintenance including painting, drywall, furniture assembly, lock repairs, and bathroom fixture installations.
Complete necessary safety permits (ladder, hot work, SPA, etc.) for ongoing tasks.
Utilize ISN to manage contractor registration.
Other duties as assigned.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in food or GMP-regulated environments
Wastewater or ammonia system experience
Prior use of ISN contractor management platforms
OSHA 10 or 30 certification
Previous work involving preventative maintenance programs
Education:
High School

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial facility
Strong knowledge of building systems including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical components
Ability to read and follow safety procedures and technical documentation
Familiarity with ProPress piping systems
Comfortable with working both independently and as part of a team
Capable of using various hand and power tools
Willingness to work a second shift schedule
Ability to lift, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks associated with facility maintenance
