Responsibilities:
Our Client is seeking a Water Utility Field Services Technician in Bradenton, FL. In this role, you will perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of sewer collection system conveyance piping, valves, miscellaneous fittings, and other assigned assets. All work will take place within the city limits of Bradenton.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Performing all work in a safe and professional manner by following established safety, operating, and emergency response procedures.
Operating equipment for the rehabilitation of manholes and maintenance of the collection system.
Responding to and resolving customer complaints.
Performing record keeping and data entry, including daily readings of equipment and processes.
Cleaning and maintaining facility buildings and grounds.
Repairing yards following maintenance procedures.
Monitoring inventory of parts, supplies, and chemicals.
Communicating effectively with co-workers on processes and job activities.
Assisting in the inspection processes of sewer lines and manholes, including the CCTV inspection system.
Repairing and maintaining sewer lines, manholes, and lift stations.
Responding to emergency situations as required.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or educational equivalent.
Ablity to carry out verbal and written instructions.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with team members.
Willingness to obtain a Florida Class C Collections System license within one year of employment.
Possession of a valid Florida driver's license.
Willingness to respond to emergencies and carry a company-provided telephone.
Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment.
Pay: $20 - $26 an hour (Depending on qualifications and experience).
Bonuses: Annual Project and Annual Safety bonuses are awarded each year.
