Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Strategic Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term capital planning.
Variance Analysis: Analyze financial performance against budgets; provide high-level insights to senior management.
Business Partnership: Collaborate with department heads to align financial targets with overall business objectives.
Cost Accounting & Operational Insight
Cost Management: Monitor and report on manufacturing costs, including labor, raw materials, and overhead.
Margin Analysis: Conduct deep-dive margin analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
Internal Controls: Ensure accurate cost allocation and compliance with internal accounting standards.
Reporting & Process Improvement
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and compliance reports.
Audit Support: Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external audits.
System Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in financial systems (ERP) and workflows.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in Financial Planning, Analysis, and Cost Accounting (Manufacturing environment preferred).
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and Financial Modeling.
Preferred Skills:
Certifications: CPA or CMA preferred.
ERP Systems: Experience with Syspro, NetSuite, or similar manufacturing ERPs is a significant plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
