The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, products, and equipment throughout the Elkmont logistics and production facility.

Material Handling: Operate a forklift to move, stack, load, and unload materials and finished goods in storage and staging areas.

- Shipping/Receiving: Assist in the loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight trucks.
- Inventory Support: Scan, stage, and count inventory; ensure materials are placed in the correct rack or location.
- Equipment Care: Perform daily safety inspections of the forklift (pre-shift checks) and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Safety: Follow all facility safety guidelines, traffic control procedures, and maintain a safe operating speed.

Skills:
Experience using RF scanners or other warehouse management technology.
- Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing or distribution center environment.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid, current Forklift Operator Certification or documented prior experience.
- Proven ability to operate a forklift (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
