Job Description:
As a Garage Door Technician, you would be setting up, operating and maintaining the custom machining centers to produce high-quality parts.
Responsibilities:
- Enter production data into machines for producing panels for the Speed Guardian product line
- Load raw materials into machine
- Perform tool changes and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance
- Assemble panels while machine is working while also keeping the machine running Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify and troubleshoot quality issues, making adjustments or escalating problems as needed
- Perform routine maintenance like cleaning, lubrication and minor repairs Identify and report any machine malfunctions, tool wear, or other issues to the supervisor or maintenance department
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear PPE at all times
Education: High School
Experience: 12 months
- 1-3 years of machine operation experience
- Prioritization skills
- Ability to use hand tools
- High attention to detail
- Technical degree or certification in machining, CNC operation or related field is a plus
Physical:
- Must be able to lift or move at least 50 lbs
- Must be able to safely climb stairs or ladder
- Be able to work in cold or hot working conditions
- Must be able to Bend, Stoop, Squat or Kneel
