We're seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our client's rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will conduct field investigations, analyze soil and rock conditions, and provide engineering solutions for a variety of projects, including commercial, infrastructure, and municipal developments. Responsibilities:
Conduct geotechnical investigations and subsurface explorations.
Analyze soil and rock data to assess site suitability and risk.
Perform construction materials testing and field inspections.
Design foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical systems.
Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports and recommendations.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
Use engineering software for modeling and geotechnical analysis.
Collaborate with civil engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Visit construction sites to monitor work and resolve field issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, specifications, and safety standards.
Manage projects, including scheduling drilling and CMT teams, communicating with clients, and handling paperwork and permits.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, GeoStudio, or similar geotechnical software.
Familiarity with stormwater management, hydraulics, or water treatment systems.
Experience with land surveying and/or drafting techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
PE license.
3+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing.
2-3 years of project management experience, including client and team management.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and foundation design.
