Responsibilities:
Human Resources Strategy and Operations
Plan, organize, and oversee the operations and strategic initiatives of the Human Resources department.
Develop, implement, and monitor the annual Human Resources departmental budget.

Develop, review, update, and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with Group HR guidelines and compliance requirements.
Talent Acquisition and Development
Lead full-cycle recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives to support organizational needs, continuous improvement, and compliance with FSSC 22000 requirements.
Conduct or coordinate background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
Facilitate new hire orientations.
Employee Relations and Performance
Provide ongoing employee relations support and counseling.
Manage employee disciplinary actions, terminations, and internal investigations in compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
Design, coordinate, and execute employee morale and engagement initiatives aligned with organizational culture and values.
Conduct and analyze exit interviews and prepare reports with recommendations for organizational improvement.
Compensation, Benefits, and Compliance
Administer bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule, maintaining complete, accurate, and confidential payroll records.
Oversee employee benefits and workers??? compensation programs, coordinating with insurance brokers and third-party service providers.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, HR best practices, FSMS requirements, and FSSC 22000 standards.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
The ideal candidate possesses a deep and demonstrated knowledge of core human resources principles, employment law, and HR best practices. This individual must have proven leadership, coaching, and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively handle conflict resolution and employee relations matters.
They must be an effective written and verbal communicator across all levels of the organization and demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical judgment. Essential skills include strong organizational abilities, time-management skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
Furthermore, the manager must be able to interpret HR policies and apply them consistently, fairly, and objectively. Proficiency in HRIS platforms (specifically Paycom) and Microsoft Office applications is required, along with the ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Experience:
7-10 years
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Spanish & English is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience administering payroll and employee benefits.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR
Minimum of 5 years of experience working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Bachelor???s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
