Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external HR-related inquiries, providing timely assistance and follow-up.
Manage the team?s communications, ensuring all incoming HR calls and correspondence are accurately directed to the appropriate team member.
Schedule and coordinate various activities, including staff meetings, candidate interviews, and HR-related events, while maintaining the HR team's calendar.
Maintain meticulous records of all employee data?including payroll details, personal information, leave tracking, and turnover metrics?in both physical and digital databases, ensuring all employment compliance standards are met.
Act as a crucial liaison between HR and other departments, such as payroll and benefits.
Execute accurate weekly payroll processing utilizing systems like UKG, Peoplesoft, and Workday.
Possess the expertise to review and provide accurate guidance to supervisors for necessary corrections to employee timecards.
Provide robust support for the entire recruitment life cycle, including actively sourcing and interviewing candidates, performing background checks, aiding in candidate shortlisting, and issuing employment offers.
Manage the internal and external posting of all open positions.
Conduct new hire orientations, execute the onboarding process, and accurately update records with new hires.
Ensure full legal compliance with all city, state, and federal labor and employment regulations, updating internal policies and procedures as required.
Demonstrate knowledge of various leave of absence laws, regulations, and associated responsibilities.
Support management in performance management cycles.
Assist in discrete investigations, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided and maintained.
Generate and submit comprehensive reports detailing general HR activity.
Contribute to the creation, planning, and execution of employee engagement initiatives (e.g., newsletters, recognition programs, and company events).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or relevant field preferred
SHRM/PHR certification preferred
HR experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred

HR Knowledge Base: Possess a solid, demonstrated understanding of optimal strategies and standard operating procedures within Human Resources.
Recruitment Tracking: Capability to effectively operate Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software.
Service Focus: Maintain an accessible disposition and demonstrate superior client service skills.
HR Systems Mastery: Must be proficient with integrated HR database and information systems (UKG, Workday, Peoplesoft, Talentlink).
Job Posting Channels: Knowledge of conducting recruitment drives via digital employment portals (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn).
Interpersonal Excellence: Outstanding verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
Discretion: Proven ability to manage and protect sensitive employee information with strict confidentiality.
Candidate Search Expertise: Deep familiarity with resources used for talent sourcing, such as online professional networks and resume banks.
