What You'll Do: The Core Responsibilities
As the Administrative Assistant II, you will be crucial in ensuring a seamless experience for staff, students, and the public. Your duties will include:

Temporary Employment Processing: Manage the full cycle of temporary employment actions, including processing documentation for background checks, I-9 verifications, and all associated new hire paperwork.
Data Integrity & Management: Accurately enter and maintain employee data within the Colleague system and ensure the integrity and proper filing of all HR records (including scanning/filing in Etrieve).
Front-Desk Leadership: Serve as the primary, welcoming front-desk liaison—managing incoming calls, distributing mail, routing HR documents, and completing employment verifications.
Exceptional Customer Service: Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to all stakeholders (employees, students, public) via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Process Support: Review HR data for accuracy, generate reports, and support departmental initiatives focused on efficiency and improvement.
What You'll Bring: Skills & Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. (Relevant clerical experience may substitute).
Experience: Previous administrative or HR support experience is a definite plus.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Ellucian Colleague is highly beneficial.
