Responsibilities:
Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience
Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and support conflict resolution
Facilitate employee engagement initiatives, including events, communications,
and feedback sessions
Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k);
facilitate open enrollment, support employee elections and changes, coordinate with
benefit vendors, and assist with COBRA administration
Support performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and
development planning
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company
policies
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
Support payroll processes, including timekeeping data and reporting
Assist in developing, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures
Partner with Safety on workers? compensation claims and related activities
Generate and distribute HR-related reports and metrics
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
Frequent use of standard office equipment
Occasional standing and walking within office and production areas
Primarily office-based in a climate-controlled environment
Occasional exposure to production areas with varying temperatures, noise levels, dust,
and industrial conditions
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor degree preferred
Minimum 1 to 3 years of HR experience preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
