Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the building and facility.Complete basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor repair work.Perform routine inspections of the building and equipment.Help maintain and repair production machinery.Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues with production equipment.Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.Replace basic parts such as belts, hoses, bearings, switches, and filters.Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.Assist with equipment installation or moving equipment as needed.Follow all company safety procedures, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.Contact or assist outside contractors when specialized repairs are needed.Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
4-7 years
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Experience working on production machinery.Basic knowledge of motors, pumps, belts, bearings, and other mechanical components.Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.Forklift or scissor lift experience is a plus.Knowledge of preventive maintenance and workplace safety procedures.
